A Commitment
Washington Park East Cemetery has donated over $500,000 worth of land to create a home for this Memorial. It has also committed for its construction. Donations from the public to help cover these expenses are appreciated.
Burial space (including those that choose cremation) for service personnel and their families will be available near the Memorial.
The official dedication ceremony for the Memorial was set on November 8th, 2007 on site at Washington Park East Cemetery, 10612 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis Indiana.
Naming opportunities are available so that your name or the name of someone you wish to remember or to honor will be inscribed on the Memorial.
Naming rights opportunities include the following:
Center statue, “The Rescue” – $50,000
Glass “Minuteman” wall (SOLD) – $25,000
Lighted Fountain – $15,000
Indiana State Seal – $10,000
Street – $10,000 (SOLD)
Indiana National Guard Glass Panels – $5,000 each
Flag Poles – 4 – $2,500 each
